XP12-Update of Saint Croix XP

Version 1.2 of Saint Croix XP is now ready! This XP12-exclusive update focuses on visual refinements such as improved soil texture roughness for more realistic surface reflections and slightly adjusted orthophoto colors tailored specifically for X-Plane 12. Minor bugs at Henry E. Rohlsen Airport have also been fixed, and the scenery now integrates XP12’s native ambient soundscape for an even more immersive experience. But enough talk – let the images tell the story:

Check out the full changelog below for a summary of what’s new in version 1.2 (XP12 only):

  • adjusted soil textures’ roughness, i.e., specularity
  • fixed so-called “glowing effect” of 2D vegetation
  • slightly adjusted colors of orthophoto for XP12
  • minor corrections at Henry E. Rohlsen Airport
  • implemented XP12 default soundscape

For those who haven’t discovered the scenery yet: Saint Croix XP brings the lush Caribbean island of Saint Croix to life in rich detail. Created in collaboration with renowned scenery artist Cami De Bellis, it features a custom terrain mesh for the island and nearby islets, accurate overlays for vegetation, roads, and autogen, and a highly detailed rendition of Henry E. Rohlsen Airport. Landmarks in Frederiksted, Christiansted, and the Seaplane Base complete the experience.

The update to version 1.2 is free for all existing customers and is now available through Aerosoft One. For new customers, Saint Croix XP can be purchased from our publisher Aerosoft or through partner stores such as the Org Store and Steam.
