I’m happy to announce that FlyAgi is continuing her work on X-Plane sceneries! This time, in collaboration with Windsock Simulations, she worked on an X-Plane 12 update of Madrid–Barajas Airport by Aerosoft/sim-wings. And it’s a massive update, featuring numerous additions and corrections! And, the scenery package includes a by Maps2XPlane customized XP12 default mesh, with support for soundscape and seasons. (for those who prefer, an Ortho4XP-patch is included)

The entire changelog is so extensive that it would go beyond the scope of this article, so just the most important changes briefly summarized: Fixed SAM configuration, i.a. jetways and VDGS/Marshallers; Fixes and optimizations of airport functionality, i.a. taxi network, ground services, ramp starts, runway setup and layout; Fixes to ground markings; Updated orthophotos and ground textures incl. PBR normal maps, weather effects and seasonal changes; New, and more vegetation i.a. XP native 3D trees and new custom volumetric grass by FlyAgi; New custom mesh by Maps2XPlane based on the XP12 default mesh with support for soundscape and seasons.
Airport Madrid XP is available in the Aerosoft Shop, and this update for XP12 via Aerosoft One.
